Crisp’s pale malts are made from Maris Otter and other top quality two-row barley varieties. The resulting malts are of the highest quality and consistency.
Crisp’s colored malts are slow kilned and roasted to bring out distinctive malt flavors free of overpowering burnt notes. This process results in malts that are generally darker and fuller in flavor than others of its kind.
Maris Otter Floor malted pale ale malt. The lightest roast of barley malt, these grains are kilned at just hot enough temperatures to drive out moisture without damaging the enzymes within the kernels.
